ÃÛѨÊÓƵ brings premium audio and audiences to Amazon Ads for UK advertisers

Absolute Radio, KISS, Magic, Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio available through Amazon Ads

ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and Amazon Ads to carry out research demonstrating the additive value audio offers brands

Amazon Ads and ÃÛѨÊÓƵ today announced a partnership making ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s premium audio ads inventory available to advertisers via Amazon Ads.

ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s audio portfolio, spanning Absolute Radio, KISS, Magic, Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio, reaches 23.5 million weekly listeners in the UK across all formats, and includes some of the UK’s most listened to commercial radio shows. The partnership builds on ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s audioXi platform, which enables advertisers to access its premium digital audio inventory and connect with audiences across its growing audio ecosystem.

Advertisers can now plan and activate audio campaigns that reach ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s audiences in app, online, and via smart speakers, including Alexa, through a programmatic integration with Amazon Ads Agent.

The importance of audio continues to grow with connected audio reaching 75% of the UK population each week[1], with ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s Sound Check Europe research showing that 91% of UK decision-makers say audio is important to their advertising strategy [2]. Building on this, Amazon Ads is working with ÃÛѨÊÓƵ on new research to further demonstrate the additive value audio offers for achieving brand objectives.

Charlie Brookes, Director of Digital, ÃÛѨÊÓƵ, said: “Audio gives brands a powerful way to build meaningful connections with audiences at scale, and this partnership makes it easier for advertisers to bring ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s premium audio brands into their wider media plans. Through audioXi, we’re making our audio inventory more accessible, and by combining our scale and trusted brands with Amazon Ads’ technology, we’re helping advertisers bring audio seamlessly into their campaigns. Our new research will also help demonstrate the additional value audio can bring to brand campaigns.â€

“ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s audio brands are part of daily life for millions of listeners across the UK and that ability to scale campaigns and connect with audiences is exactly what advertisers want,” said Phil Christer, Managing Director, UK, Amazon Ads. “ÃÛѨÊÓƵ strengthens our audio offering for advertisers, and we’re excited to be working with them on new research to demonstrate just how additive audio can be to achieving brand objectives.”

The addition of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ to Amazon Ads means advertisers can plan and activate the UK’s most listened-to commercial radio brands all from one place with Amazon Ads Agent. Amazon Ads Agent brings sponsored ads and Display, Video, and Audio together in one simple, connected, AI-first ads platform and gives advertisers the option to use manual campaign building tools, let Amazon’s AI optimise on their behalf, or employ a mix of both depending on campaign goal and advertiser need.
