Rob Howard joins Hits Radio with brand-new evening show

Rob Howard is joining Hits Radio to host a brand-new evening show, airing Monday to Thursday from 7pm, launching on July 6.

Hits Radio is welcoming Rob Howard to weeknights with a brand-new evening show designed to soundtrack listeners’ evenings – whether they’re heading home, cooking dinner, catching up with friends or settling in for the night.

Broadcasting Monday to Thursday from 7pm, the show will combine the biggest hits with entertainment, listener interaction and Rob’s trademark warmth, humour and energy.

Rob, who has previously worked at Heart and Capital, said:

“I cannot wait to get started on Hits Radio with my new evening show. There’s something really special about being part of people’s weeknight routine, whether listeners are driving home, making dinner, heading out or just switching off after a busy day. Looking forward to catching up with everyone from Monday July 6th!â€

With Rob joining the station, Scott Clarke remains a huge part of the Hits Radio team and alongside his regulars Sunday show on Hits Radio (12 -4pm) he’ll move to daytimes on Hits Radio 90s and 00s where listeners can find him every weekday between 10am and 3pm.

Rob Howard’s new evening show launches on Monday 6 July, airing Monday to Thursday from 7pm on Hits Radio.

Listeners can tune in via DAB, online, on smart speakers and through the Rayo app.
